Howey Walk (Anti-clockwise)

This is a 7k (4,5 mile) walk. It is graded as
medium as there are some steep slopes. It
starts and finishes at the Lake where there
are parking and refreshment faciities. On a
clear day there are spectacular views over
farmland and back to the Town.

THE 'SEASON'

The 'season' lasted from May to mid September. Outside the pump rooms at the Rock Park and the Pump House Hotel the visitors queued each morning to take the waters, entertained by music from the orchestras.
